
In today’s post we are going to Explore the amazing insights of an A level Student whom we will call Vaishnavi.
Vaishnavi have performed Exceptionally well in her A levels, making her way in to the Medical faculty of University of Colombo. Being a student from the East part of the country, we’ll see, what kind of strategies have helped her in her journey.
RG : Vaishnavi, What you consider , you have did right in your time as an A level student?
VS : The method of studying I followed in those two and a half years is one of the reason for my performance. Working things out on my own had enhanced me a lot rather than running to several tuition classes. So, definitely I consider, it is self-study that is much important than other factors in one’s performance, and it is something that I have done right.
RG : What would you do differently if you get another chance as an A level student?
VS : I would rectify the mistakes which was continued repeatedly during calculations in Physics and Chemistry. Also I would go through Biology more specifically and minutely for memorizing the concepts.
RG : What is the most significant thing you would say for a current aspiring A level student?
VS : Schedule your remaining time precisely, allocating much time for the subject that deserves most of your attention and allocating sufficient time for the rest of two. Give your hundred percent constant work for for all three subjects certainly.
RG : What single technique or practice have helped you a lot in your journey?
VS : I cleared out every day’s lesson on that same day and utilized the past-papers and their elaborations completely. I did the questions of a section as soon as that section ends. This helped me a lot in seeing what kind of questions are being asked from a particular section and it helped me in solidifying my understanding too. It had helped me to significantly reduce last minute preparation, which is so prevalent among A level students.
